Miroslava Sawiris holds a First-Class BA degree in Arabic & Russian Civilization (University of Leeds), and an MA in International Relations (University of York). She worked as a Senior Researcher for GLOBSEC, focusing on malign efforts to undermine democracies, strategic communication and internet governance. She led research projects on the impact of disinformation on elections and she coordinated the Alliance for Healthy Infosphere. Currently, she works as a Director of the Strategic Communications Department at the Office of the Security Council within the Slovak Government Office.
