Tomáš Prouza (1973) is a Special Envoy of the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade for Czech EU Presidency, coordinating the Presidency work of the ministry. He is also President of the Czech Confederation of Trade and Tourism and a Vice-President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
Before returning to private sector in 2018, he was State Secretary for European Affairs of the Czech Republic (2014-2017). His previous experience includes working for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and being a Deputy Minister of Finance responsible for financial markets, European Union and fiscal policy.
