Vít Střítecký is Associate Professor of Security Studies and Head of the Department of Security Studies at Charles University, Prague. He is a founding member of Periculum, Charles University Centre of Excellence, where he contributes to the program on Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML). In his research he focuses on the interplay between security and technology, currently with an interdisciplinary focus on ML/AI deployment in high-risk environments and related regulatory policies. His most recent publications appeared in ACM Computing Surveys or Futures. Besides his academic activities he previously advised the European Parliament, MFA, or the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic.
